Travis Chapman is a A-level student at Gordano school who has been in motorsport since he was 10yrs old and has progressed through indoor karting, outdoor club level karting, some national karting. In 2020 at the age of 14 Travis progressed into racing cars and raced for two years in JSCC racing saxo's at tracks like Silverstone, Brands Hatch and many more. In his 2nd year Travis was a championship contender holding third place till the penultimate round, Travis fought back in the final rounds at Brands Hatch securing two podiums out of three races but unfortunately due to a racing incident did not finish the final race and had to settle for fourth place in the championship. 2023 saw Travis complete his rookie year in senior racing aged just 17, one of two youngest drivers on the grid in the Miltek Civic Cup Championship with Pro Alloys Racing. Travis achieved several top ten finishes competing against some amazing drivers who have moved onto TCR UK this year. Travis started 2024 on a high showing his ability and personality in the Vertu Mini Challenge scholarship getting to the final, he didn't win but he had a great couple of days being coached by BTCC drivers. Due to unforeseen circumstances denting budget Travis has made the decision switch to endurance racing and has registered with the Britcar Trophy and signed up to Spires Motorsport to compete in 3 out of 7 race weekends and will be focusing on driver development with the hope to do a full season in 2025.
