Our Aspire Dance Crew classes are based on Commercial/street dance/pop music, with the opportunity to perform 3 times a year and possibly appear at local fetes. Students are required to wear our Aspire t-shirt to class from Sept 2024 which can be purchased from our merchandise section on our website.

There are two Groups, Juniors 6-12yrs and Seniors 13yrs+ (adults with dance experience welcome) Both groups meet on Wednesdays at Gordano School using the Elliot Hall. Naomi will cover a different routine based on popular music each term with a performance at the end of the last lesson of the Christmas, Easter and Summer term to parents/siblings. Our Seniors also focus on technique, strengthening and exploring different dance genres and is perfect for those preparing to audition for performing arts college at 15/16yrs.

Past routines have included Barbie mash up inspired from the Barbie movie, Taylor Swift routine based on Her Era Tour, Divas from the decades which included Spice girls, Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Michael Jackson, this routine was performed at the Summer Show July 2024. Our Dancers from our dance crew classes are the ones who form our dance troupe for the Portishead Carnival with the routine being learnt in term 5 & 6, some students from other classes like to take part in this and join the class just for those terms. All our other students and their families are welcome to join us as a walking party dressed to match our theme and carrying props.
